Day 1Drive from Delhi to Dharamshala (470 kms approx. 9-10 hours)
After you arrive at the Delhi railway station, your car will pick you up and take you to Dharamshala. Check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the evening at your leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2Sightseeing in Dharamshala
After breakfast, visit the Tibetan Medical Centre. This research and treatment centre produces medicines according to the traditional Tibetan system of medicine. Go to the Church of St. John, an Anglican church surrounded by deodar forests. You can also visit a local monastery or indulge in a meditation class. Enjoy you evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3Drive from Dharamshala to Dalhousie (130 km/approx. 4 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Dalhousie. Check-in and spend a day of rest at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Dalhousie.
Day 4Sightseeing in Dalhousie
After breakfast, visit the main tourist attractions in Dalhousie. Panchpula is a popular picnic spot where mountain streams bring water to form natural ponds. Tourists spend their time at the restaurant or at little stalls that sell tea and snacks. Take a walk amidst tall pine trees at the Subhash Baoli. This beautiful place has been named after Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Netaji meditated here while in Dalhousie. See the Bhulwani Mata Mandir at Bara Pathar and hike up the Bakrota Hills to see an impressive view of snow-clad peaks. Also, see St. John’s Church. It was the first to be built after the town of Dalhousie was founded. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5Drive from Dalhousie to Delhi (560 km/approx. 10-11 hours)
After breakfast, you will be driven back to Delhi for your return journey.
